Machine Cozy (Cover) Class

In addition to your sewing machine in good working order, scissors, rotary cutter & mat, ruler, edgestitch foot #10/10C, Bulky overlock foot #12/12C, Walking foot #50, and free motion foot (Darning foot #9, Quilting Foot #29/29C or BSR #42), you will need the following supplies: 1. 3/4 yd. main print fabric 2. 8" x 44" contrast for piping and binding 3. 3/4 yd. muslin 4. 1-3/4 yd. 1/4" piping 5. 3/4 yd. fusible fleece 6. Thread We will determine the size by measuring your machine. Fuse fleece to the wrong side of the main fabric piece,and sandwich the muslin to the wrong side of the fleece using 505 spray adhesive. Quilt the piece as desired before you come to class. Note: If you will be making this for a Bernina 830 please check with us for the sizes you need to cut for your machine. |
