What happens in each class. 1. In the first class you will be measured and start tracing your pattern & get it cut out. 2. In the second class you will sew your shirt on either a sewing machine or a serger, -your choice. You may borrow a machine or bring your own. If you bring your own, make sure it is in good working order--cleaned and adjusted. |
Supply List: Pattern (there are a number of patterns for knit tops available such as T-shirt tops. Just ask if you need help selecting one to fit you) Pre-washed fabric in the amount shown on your pattern (wash your fabric and dry it just as you will your top after you have made it) Easy Pattern Paper Size 80 Ball-point needles Ribbing if desired (do not pre-wash) Polyester Thread to match your fabric Your Basic Sewing Kit is nice, but if you haven't assembled one yet, at least bring sharp scissors, a tape measure, and a smile. When you go home from the second class, you can wear your new top!!! |
