Helene Cardigan
The Helene cardigan is a quick make and the outcome is so pretty. Our previous students LOVED making this - one of them made three!
This open front cardigan with high back neck creates subtle draping, has a super easy pocket, a waist seam for color blocking and slightly flowy lower back to give it more movement.
This requires a knit with 40% stretch in the width with a fluid drape. If you have a full bust, choose a fabric that also has vertical stretch.
You will need the pattern before the class so you can purchase the correct amount of fabric.
Please bring your serger with accessories, cords and foot pedal; or a sewing machine with a zigzag or overlock stitch.
Also need a sewing kit with coordinating thread and sewing tools.
