Adult Beginning Quilting - Movie Star Quilt
This class is geared for those who have done plenty of squares and rectangles, and are ready to move on to hst's and borders.
The Movie Star quilt is a Villa Rosa design, so students must purchase the pattern.
Materials required:
8 Fat Quarters for the star
1 Fat Quarter or a 14" square of fabric for the center
1 1/2 yards for the Border
5/8 for the Binding
Either 4 1/4 yards or 3/12 yards for backing depending on how to piece it.
1 3/4 yard of batting (90") wide
Thread to coordinate
Sewing supplies required:
Sewing machine with foot pedal and power cord (if you need to borrow one, let us know at least one week in advance.)
Scissors
Pins/clips
Rotary cutter with ruler
