Kid's Beginning Quilting Camp

Making a quilt is a great summer activity for kids (10yrs and up) - not only is it fun, but they learn to measure and cut, do some math skills, learn to operate a sewing machine safely and make new friends.
We will be making a quilt similar to the photo. Each student will be responsible for cutting their own pieces with careful supervision. For the quilt top, students need to buy three 1 yard pieces of fabric. The batting piece 50"x66"; the backing is 3 yards of fabric.
We provide machines unless they have a machine with which they are familiar and would prefer to use. Please let us know if your sewist needs to use one of our machines. The machines we provide are a bernette 33 model and will be available for purchase at the end of class!
Snacks provided. Please let us know of dietary/health restrictions.
