Adult Beginning Quilting #2 - Log Cabin Quilt

Let's make another fun and easy quilt using the Eleanor Burns' Quilt in a Day method, perfect for those who have advanced past beginner #1. This class will teach you more about cutting those strips accurately, piecing accurately and creating a wonderful lap quilt. (I'm thinking Christmas gifts?)
This quilt will finish at 53" x 67".
Fabric requirements:
Center Blocks - 1/8 yard
Light Strips - If you want all your light strips to be the same, you will need 1 1/8 yards.
OR
Light Strips - If you want to use different fabrics for your light strips, you will need the following:
Fabric 1 & 2 - 1/3 yard; Fabric 3 & 4 - 1/2 yard; Fabric 5 & 6 - 2/3 yard
Dark Strips - If you want all your dark strips to be the same, you will need 1 1/3 yards.
OR
Dark Strips - If you want to use different fabrics for your light strips, you will need the following:
Fabric 1 & 2 - 3/8 yard; Fabric 3 & 4 - 1/2 yard; Fabric 5&6 - 2/3 yard
Borders - #1 - 1/3 yard; #2 - 7/8 yard.
Binding - 5/8 yard
Backing - 3 1/4 yard
Batting - 61"x75"
Please bring sewing machine, accessories, cords, foot pedal, threads to match/coordinate, scissors, rotary cutter, rulers for cutting strips.
Purchase of Eleanor Burns' Quilt in a Day book is necessary for class.
