Rope Bowls

Rope bowls are fun and fast to make. Come make a beautiful design to decorate your home. You can make them any size you want.

You will receive a kit that includes rope, glue stick and your choice of one fat quarter. 


We provide glue gun to create the spiral at the end.
Techniques covered in the class include:
          Cutting and choosing fabric
          Selecting the proper rope to use
          Start sewing the bowl
          Curving the sides of your bowl
          Adding your fabric
          Finishing your bowl

Students must bring:  (15% discount offered  if available items are purchased at Keizer Bernina)
~Sewing machine with extension table, foot pedal and power cord (You will be working with soft rope, be sure your machine can handle this type of material. Bernina Quilting and More nor the teacher are responsible for any damage to a machine that cannot handle rope material)  If you are not sewing on a Bernina, please bring your machine manual.

~Open toe foot and standard foot
~Two full bobbins
~2 jean needles
~Scissors with a small tip
~Scissors that you don't use for fabric and can cut rope 
~Rotary cutter and ruler
~Cream color cotton thread OR contrasting thread so you can see your stitches
~Clips (standard size)
~Strong straight pins
~Tape measure
