Exploding Heart Quilt/Wicked Quilt

Materials needed for Scrappy Version using only 3 colors:
Background fabric 4 1/4 yds
Color 1 - 5 fat quarters (can be randomly chosen but in same color group)
Color 2 - 5 fat quarters (random okay)
Color 3 - 5 fat quarters (again, random is okay)
Binding 2/3 yd
Backing 5 yds
Materials needed for Scrappy Version (truly Scrappy):
Background 4 1/4 yds
15 fat quarters in a variety of colors
Binding 2/3 yds
Backing 5 yds
You will need to bring:
Sewing machine with cord and foot pedal.
Scissors
Rotary cutter and 6 x 12" ruler
Pins or clips
Fabric marking pen/pencil
4 1/2 square ruler
Matching thread
Optional: rotary cutting mat that turns
