Collage Journal
We will be making gorgeous free-motion fabric collages, perfect for those who may want to try free motion stitching, and then couching and using decorative threads to create these one-of-a-kind notebook covers. This technique will allow you to go on to create many different projects, so don't miss out!
The kit is $20, in addition to the cost of the class. Written instructions will be provided. You will learn about free-motion feet, free-motion gloves, supreme sliders, threads, using teflon feet/sewing on vinyl.
Students need to provide sewing machine with table, basic sewing supplies, fabric scraps, thread scraps and other fibers to collage with, construction and quilting thread. The sparklier, the better!
Also, bring a brown bag lunch or snack to keep your strength up. :)
