Kids' Beginning Sewing
Learning how to sew can be SEW fun! This class will teach the basics of machine safety, how to cut out a pattern, how to stitch carefully, and most importantly, enjoy the finished product! We will be making simple projects including a drawstring backpack and a pair of pajama pants.
**Must be at least 10 years of age.**
Class description:
First class will include learning safety rules, learning about the sewing machines and tools, and practicing sewing for the first time! Materials list for our projects will be handed out at the first class.
Please let us know if you can provide a sewing machine for your little sewist to use. If you need to use one of ours, we need to know a week in advance. There is a 15% discount for items purchased for class.
Please send a snack for a break during class.
